About Bereavement and Other Losses
We all experience loss at various points in our lives. It could be the death of a loved one, a divorce or separation, loss of work or a home, redundancy, loss of a pet or one of the many other losses a person may experience during their lifetime.
Grief is the normal and natural reaction to loss, but the way we are taught to deal with it often ends up causing us hurt and emotional pain. Unresolved grief can sit in our heads and hearts for years and we may experience emotions including sadness, pain, isolation and hopelessness.
We may withdraw from people and activities we used to enjoy and spend more time stuck living life on auto pilot or just existing and getting through the next days or years. People often tell us to ‘let go’ and ‘move on’ but they don’t tell us how.
The good news is that there is a way forward. The Grief Recovery Method® has been developed over the last 35 years to give us the tools to deal with our emotions associated with grief and to live happy and fulfilled lives.
I am a qualified and accredited Grief Recovery Specialist® who will support and guide you through the Grief Recovery® programme. I am absolutely committed to helping people move on from loss and look forward with hope. No matter how recent or long ago your loss, if you want to take the first steps away from pain and towards renewed happiness, please get in touch and I can tell you more.
